Sunday 13th May 2018 6.30pm – The Mayor of Maidstone’s Raise the Roof Concert. This is in All Saints Church in Maidstone starting at 6.30pm and supporting the Mayor’s Charities. West Malling Community Choir are appearing with a number of other local groups including Energize community Choir, Maidstone Choral Union, The Maidstone Singers, Sutton Valence Choral Society and many others. Sunday 1st July 2018 3pm – Stage and Screen. This is our summer concert and was hugely popular last year as the audience can bring their own food and buy alcoholic and soft drinks from the bar. It’s in Ditton Community centre with doors opening at 2.30pm and the concert beginning at 3pm. Tickets are £5 for adults with children free – they will be available on the door or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org

Sunday 2nd December 2018 – Light up a Life. This is a Heart of Kent concert at Aylesford Priory and will be outdoors so wrap up warm! Details to be confirmed.
Sunday 9th December 2018 – Our Christmas Concert. This is our candelit concert in St Mary’s Church in West Malling with two local primary schools and is always a magical and fabulous event. Tickets available from any choir member, from the schools or on the door.
Monday 15th April 2019 – Music is Magic! We are performing in the Royal Albert Hall in London with the Music Man Project so please save the date! More info..

Sunday 15th April 2018 – This Little Light Spring Concert. This is in St Mary’s Church in West Malling with The Maidstone Singers. The show starts at 5pm and tickets are £7 for adults, children free and now available from any choir member or on the door or by emailing email@example.com

Friday 3rd November 2017 @7.30pm – Brandenberg Choral Festival Of London. We are making our London debut in the Brandenberg Choral Festival Of London along with the Etcetera Civil Service Choir. We will be performing a number of contemporary pieces in our Rhythm of Life set in the musicians church of St Sepulchre-without-Newgate. Tickets are available and can be purchased from http://www.brandenburg.org.uk/festival using ‘CHOIR1’ as a code.
Sunday 9th July 2017 @3pm – Summer Sensation concert. This is a fun summer event in Ditton Community Centre (Kilnbarn Lane in Ditton) where you are invited to bring food or nibbles and to purchase drinks from the licenced bar. Seating will be around tables so you can relax and listen to the choir. Tickets are £5 and available on the door. Doors open at 2.15pm.
Sunday 14th May 2017 @7pm -The Rhythm of Life concert. This is a joint concert with The Maidstone Singers in St. Mary‘s Church in West Malling. Tickets are £7 and will be available on the door.
Sunday 19th March 2017 3pm – Celebrating Jeffery, a life in Music. A concert celebrating the life and music of Kent based conductor and teacher, Jeffrey Vaughan Martin. This concert will take place in Mote Hall in Maidstone. For more information or to buy tickets please follow this link ..
Friday 30th September 2016 – Stile Antico workshop and concert in St Marys Church (8pm) This is a workshop with the world famous Stile Antico on the Friday afternoon as part of the Music @ Malling Music festival which is followed by an evening concert at 8pm in West Malling church starring Stile Antico but also featuring the West Malling Community Choir. Sunday 16th October 2016 – Eynsford Concert Band Autumn Spectacular in St Marys Church (7.30pm) This is an autumn concert at 7.30pm on Sunday evening featuring both the Eynsford Concert Band and West Malling Community Choir.
Thursday 27th October 2016- K.E.N.T.A.R.A thanksgiving service in Rochester Cathedral (11.30am) This is an annual thanksgiving service for K.E.N.T.A.R.A (an umbrella group for all of the Kent Active Retirement Associations) and being organised this year by the Snodland Town Active retirement Association
Sunday 4th December 2016 at 5pm – Christmas Carol Concert in St Marys Church. This is our annual candlelit Christmas concert in West Malling church where we will be joined by singers from our local primary schools.
Monday 19th December 2016 – Demelza House Carol Service ‘Celebration of Christmas’ in Canterbury Cathedral (7.30pm) This is the annual Christmas carol service in Canterbury Cathedral to raise money for Demelza House childrens hospice. During the spring/summer term of 2015 we had a fantastic concert with the Vigo Ladies Choir in West Malling as well as taking part in the annual music festival at Spadework in Offham.
In 2014 we took part in the Remembrance Day Service in St. Mary’s Church on Sunday 9th November. It was a beautiful and uplifting service with the Bishop of Rochester in attendance along with representatives from many local community groups and from the armed forces.
We also enjoyed our candle-lit Christmas concert on Sunday 7th December in St. Mary’s Church where we will sang along with the choir from More Park RC Primary School as well as raising money for Kent Association for the Blind.
22nd June 2013 – Maidstone Arts Festival
West Malling Community Choir took part in a ‘Come along and Sing’ event as part of the Maidstone Arts Festival. It tookplace in Jubilee Square in Maidstone where the choir entertained the shoppers and showed them what a Community Choir was all about and there were also performances by two other choirs, ‘Energize’ and the Five Acre Wood School “Signing Choir”.
16th March 2013 – Spring Concert
The choir sang in a concert to celebrate their 1 year anniversary along with The Maidstone Singers in St. Mary’s Church in West Malling. The concert was in aid of the Kent Association for the blind and was a rehearsal for the Maidstone Singers who are shortly going on a tour. It was another successful concert where the West Malling Community Choir demonstrated that they are starting to come of age and really perform as a cohesive unit.
9th December 2012 – Candelight Christmas Concert
The choir sang in a candelit Christmas Concert in St. Mary’s Church in West Malling where they were supported by school children from More Park RC Primary School and West Malling Primary School. It was a delightful event with a packed church, lots of Christmas songs and carols and plenty of mince pies!
30th July 2012 – Help For Heroes’ concert with the Eynesford Concert Band
West Malling Community Choir took part in the ‘Help for Heroes’ Concert in Sevenoaks Community Centre on Saturday 30th July where they supported the Eynesford Concert Band in an event which celebrated Armed Forces Day and the Queens Jubilee. The choir sang six pieces and thoroughly enjoyed the occasion and received some very nice comments from members of the audience.
15th July 2012 – with Canta Feminae
The summer concert took place on Sunday 15th July at St. Mary’s Church in West Malling. This performance was special as the choir were not the support act but hosted their own event, supported by Canta Feminae a visiting Czech female choir. This was the Summer Concert which was part of the International Music and Dance Festival and took place in the afternoon to a full St. Mary’s Church.
24th March 2012 – with the Maidstone Singers
The choir took part in their first concert on Saturday 24th March 2012 when they sang in St. Mary’s Church in West Malling in support of The Maidstone Singers. This first outing was a great success and the choir managed to recruit some new members as a result of this event.
