Repertoire

Our music is chosen mostly by our Musical Director, Kathryn Ridgeway along with a small committee representing the choir.  We have sung a whole range of songs through rounds and traditional folk songs from near and far as well as some classics and some popular easy listening and pop songs.  We nearly always sing in parts and our record so far ( I think) is six different parts being sung.

We have a suggestions box at all rehearsals where choir members can pop in ideas for songs to sing so hopefully as time goes on and we become more proficient we will sing more of the material which choir members have requested.  Quite often, we are given a song which none of us have ever heard of before and after a few minutes of singing it we realise how nice it is!
